Join our 7 and Up Club! Early evaluations starting around age 7 help us guide growth towards a healthy smile.
Early orthodontic treatment, also called Phase I, focuses on guiding jaw growth, correcting harmful habits, and making space to allow teeth to grow in naturally. It’s about setting your child up for a simpler path to a healthy smile.
Prevent crowding, bite issues, or airway concerns
We take a full developmental view, including breathing and jaw alignment
Timely intervention often means less invasive care later
Not all kids need Phase I, but when they do, it makes a difference.
What’s Phase I? A short-term treatment between ages 7–10 to address growth, jaw width, crossbites, and habits.
Will my 7-year-old get braces? Not necessarily. Some may just need monitoring. Others may benefit from a short course of expanders or limited braces.
What’s Phase II? Follow-up treatment (often in the teen years) to align all the adult teeth once they’re in.
We’re here to explain everything, clearly and calmly.
We’ll let you know after a quick evaluation and imaging, no guesswork, no pressure.
